Happy Birthday to the Great One
Today my little brother turns 19. Some fun facts about the last 19 years.
- This is the 1st birthday I think I have missed since ever.
- One year I got him a tiara and this really cool erector set. He was so pissed about the tiara he swore he would never open the erector set, and to this day it has yet to be opened. I think he also disowned be for a few months, going as far as to cross my face off the Syracuse tennis poster.
- While I always loved intricate birthday cakes, my brother one year asked for a simple pound cake. We were so confused. We did not understand his request, but sure enough on his birthday my grams made him a simple pound cake with no frills. A simple man.
- In college the Big East Tournament would land around his birthday, so I would surprise him making him think I was still in Florida and not the person ringing the doorbell.
- Ice Cream cakes were his jam for the first 7 years, usually with Winnie the Pooh figurines.
- Today ice cream is his go to snack and favorite breakfast, lunch & dinner option
- He is gullible.
- Andrew made his first trip to NYC with me to attend my brothers 12th birthday at ESPN Zone.
- Robbie loves football.
- He can dance. Plus he practices on dance dance revolution on the recent Wii he purchased.
- He is currently obsessed with the double chocolate cake from Charlottes Patisseries
- He is the luckiest son of a gun and once cleared house at the penny social, winning baby items, wine (which they gave him), and 8 other items. The old ladies were pissed!
- The first time he met Andrew he chucked a ball at his head.
- He is the best car mate to sing with. Loud and off key.
- He is 6ft and has a ridiculous death grip
- When he was between 1-2, he once burst out singing a part of Whitney Houston's, I Will Always Love You, that was on repeat in the car. It was epic. Sleeping, and then all of a suddenly he was on point.
- He will eat all 12 cupcakes if you don't watch him
- He can't eat chocolate in secret because he manages to always get it on his face.
- He is awesome and knows the lyrics to all my spice girls songs
Happy Birthday to my favorite man whom I can spend the night dancing with to 90's music and is about to play in his first tennis regional tournament this weekend. Go Broncos!
